Asus Padfone with Tegra 3 coming in early 2012

What's more, it won't be powered by a Qualcomm Krait S4 as suggested by that strange GLBenchmark we saw earlier -- it will in fact sport a Tegra 3, just like its highly capable big bro the Transformer Prime. See? That's the kind of juicy reward our podcast listeners get for tuning in each week. Just as we were settling down to another calm and banterful Engadget Mobile Podcast, our special guest had to go and throw us some hard news. Yup, and rather than making you sit through the entire two-hour recording (pleasant as that would be), we're just going to come right out with it: Nicole Scott from netbooknews.com has it on good authority that the Asus Padfone will be coming out at MWC 2012 in February.

In its bid, Verizon has two package options sales. First, remove the Xoom with redemption $ 800 without the data package. Second, are offered at prices slightly down, which is $ 600 with frills data packet should be bound for two years.

Xoom is not only interesting in the Promotion. The capabilities, tablet PC that has a 10.1 inch wide screen is also quite capable. One thing that became flagship is, he is the first to carry the tablet PC operating system Android 3.0 Honeycom.

Honeycomb is the Android OS that was developed specifically for tablet PCs. Unlike the earlier series such as Android Android 2.2 (Froyo), 2.3 (Gingerbread) and others which were originally designed for smartphones. So are performance and reliability, Xoom is promising.

In terms of features, Xoom has dual cameras (front and rear 2-megapixel 5 megapixels). And not only snapped photos and video recording, the device also claimed could be used for video chat.

"This is really the latest-generation tablet," Mobility Device Umbar Motorola team, Alain Mutricy.

NEC Medias thinnest Android

Competition in the smartphone market is not only a matter of sophistication, but also a matter of form, in this case about who is thinnest. Samsung Galaxy S II originally held the title as the world's thinnest smartphone Android, but the predicate is now stopped by the smartphone made by NEC.

NEC Medias N-04C, thus its name, is super thin with a thickness of only 7.7 mm. Smartphone sail 4 inch Galaxy beat the S II which has a thickness of 8.5 mm or Optimus Black LG 9.2 mm thick.

Froyo Android-based smartphone that seems to only be visited the Japanese market only. NEC specifically made for NTT DoCoMo, the largest telecommunications operator in the State Sakura.

With such a thin form, then what about its features? Apparently, if traced, thin NEC Medias not to sacrifice diusungnya facilities. This phone has many advanced features, like smart phones today.

Processors diusungnya pretty good with the power of 800 MHz. Then there is the ability of television broadcast facilities thanks to digital tv tuner.

Samsung Tocco Icon with Social Messaging Fun

It is a well-known fact that affordability and features do not always coincide in the case of mobile phones. It is an age old problem that many manufacturers have tried to overcome, but ultimately have done nothing but fail. Samsung is probably the one manufacturer that came close to achieving it with its cheap phones that were running on the Bada operating system. However, even though it was quite feature rich, it was badly let down by the operating system. So, Samsung has gone back to the drawing board once again and has come up with the Samsung Tocco Icon. This phone is also known as the Samsung S5260 Star II.

The Samsung Tocco Icon will be coming with a 3.0 inch touch screen display that is probably going to challenge higher segment phones as well. This is because even though this is a budget phone, Samsung has managed to include the capacitive technology and many others into the screen. The result is that this is one feature rich screen that you just cannot take your eyes off. It is also massively helped by the resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. The phone will be using the Touchwiz user interface version 3.0 for the first time in a budget smartphone. The biggest problem that budget smartphones have been facing till date has been the internal memory.

Even though phones in this segment provide a number of features, they are sadly let down by the hopeless internal memory specification. It might also be the case with the Samsung Tocco Icon, but the saving grace of the phone has to be the 16 GB memory card support. This overcomes the problems that will come about with the 40 MB memory that is present internally. The massive amount of memory that you can create in the phone can be used to entertain you massively because the phone has a number of multimedia features that are the first for this segment. The chief amongst this will be the fantastic music player that is capable of playing all forms of audio formats that are being currently used today.

The camera in the phone is a 3.15 megapixel unit and it can record videos at QVGA resolution. The videos will be recorded at the rate of 15 frames per second by the camera, which is certainly good enough for a phone in this price range. The user friendliness of the phone is enhanced by the fact that it will be having a number of connectivity options. In fact, the connectivity options in this phone are one of the latest. For an example, the Bluetooth option in the phone is the latest version 3.0, whereas the competitors of the Samsung Tocco Icon will be using the version 2.0. Such is the forward thinking nature of the Samsung Tocco Icon that it is extremely appealing to the users. The phone will be coming with a 1000 mAh battery that will be providing excellent battery life.
